An example of racism being taught. Little ginger haired boy had a best friend who was mixed race. Because they were always together, the teaching assistant called the ginger haired boy by the mixed raced boys name. Now of all the things he could have replied, he said “that’s not me, iv not got curly hair”. Never mentioned skin colour, never mentioned anything other than the fact one had poker straight hair and other curly. Thats the only difference he saw between him and his best mate

I once had an American trying to school me on the famine. He told me it wasn't real and he knew this because his "grandparents" were Irish and around during the 1800s apparently.
