I had to take my Dad to hospital last night, he’s elderly with complex health issues and a history of sepsis so 18hrs of waiting for a bed along with advocating for him, was pretty exhausting 
he’s settled now and hopefully after a few days of IV meds he’ll be home. I also found it heartbreaking to see the pure chaos that a&e departments are facing due to lack of funding, staff, space etc
Massive respect to healthcare professionals working under such strain.
