carbamazepine increased to 600mg then 800mg next week, they will slowly be increased over the next few weeks to the max dose, then once that is reached it will be hopefully ween off them 
appointment again on the 31st. Signed off work as I just can't concentrate with the pain and the meds are making me so sleepy and doseile.
Ps sorry for making it a medical thread again just many I thought I'd like to update.
