There is it’s an activities coordinator in most homes
they along with carers are definitely unsung heroes. My daughter was a senior carer during COVID, that girl got herself medicated for anxiety to stay at work, not to go sick. She held residents while they died without families. She was promoted to deputy during that time, then manager. She started as a bank carer in that home, so knows every role. She still goes in helps in kitchen if short, on units if short. Thankfully she has fab staff retention and rarely needs agency etc. I’m so proud of her
that home is focused on the care and needs of the people who live there xx
