I don’t think there’s a worse insult than nonce. I also think the definition has been lost, what with it being slung about as an insult on TikTok, akin to dickhead or t.
Nonces are sexually attracted to children. I’m not sure what they do with their time but judging by their tendencies, I’m going to take an educated guess and say it isn’t gossiping about TikTokers.
A lot here have been quite open about trauma relating to actual pedophiles, that has impacted their lives and will sadly continue to do so. There are people in here and all over the world, whose entire life could crumble should they be accused of being such a heinous monster. I’m not speaking about other Angelas, these are real people who suffer in silence and are at risk of actual consequences from such name calling.
“Get offline if you’re affected so easily”
A fair suggestion but does it work? Many use the internet as their social life, if they are a home body due to mental or physical health, for example. Should these people leave possibly the only social interaction they know, at the risk of hearing the worst insult? Or would it be understandable for them to experience visceral reactions and perhaps they shouldn’t be the ones told to leave the internet?
The responsibility should be on those using such insults, to maybe use a little more intellect when degrading others and not reach for the worst trauma a CHILD can experience - to insult others with.
Using the same level of intellect, isn’t it just a little bit noncey to use child sex crimes, as material for insults?
Doesn’t feel nice does it and I hated typing that out. Quit using the worst to attack other people with before there’s blood on the dance floor and real life consequences. God forbid there hasn’t been already.
