When I was a carer working for Bupa I used to get £6.80ph minimum age ....to clean vomit, spit, diarrhea on 12 hrs shifts....it was a hard job, I worked on a dementia unit, we never had enough staff on it was pretty horrific tbh...the youngsters nowadays would never put up and graft like it....or do they?
My youngest works in a care home 12hr shifts minimal wage 🥺 but the middle one sells houses and has different work ethics then her 2 sisters. All work really hard. I take my hat off to anyone working that helps the more vulnerable
