Sevda and Hairy Daddy were born in Enfield, London, England.
Sevcan the oldest sister and Mine the Hippo were also born in Enfield, London, England.
Doormat Mummy was born in Limassol on the South Coast of Cyprus, not sure of the exact year but I believe it was prior to Cyprus gaining independence from Britain.
Cyprus gained independence from the UK in 1960 and it wasn't until 1974 that Turkey invaded and occupied the northern part of the island.
Hairy Daddy has relatives who live in Cyprus who definitely were born during Cyprus being British.
Sevda's nan lived in England. She's never explained which specific relatives might be Turkish, the onus is on her to prove it.
Whilst Hairy Daddy and Doormat might have Turkish first names does not mean they are automatically Turkish. David Beckham has a son with a Spanish name but he's not Spanish.
Nationality and Ethnicity definitions have changed over the years and often are used in race baiting circles. Is the London Mayor English or Pakistani? Is the new Conservative leader English or Nigerian?
Ethnicity includes things like common culture, day to day living, food, language, conventions of the country, school, housing, clothes, music etc, every single facet of Sevda, Sevcan, Mine, Essen, Serap lifestyles are all English. They live ethnically as English people born in England, schooled in England, worked in England, living in England.
I imagine the argument is that if one of her distant relatives was Turkish then boom she's ethnically Turkish but if we go down that road then we are all actually ethnically African!
