I'm sure we just did the papers in our assembly hall under exam like conditions, I don't remember having to go anywhere, my memory is terrible. I had forgotten all about it until I found my 3 bronze certificates. 1 was from the junior challenge in 96 and 2 intermediate in 98 and 99. I think the Gold certificate winners were maybe selected to go onto other competitions.

I have a certificate from attending a week long Ethos course at Heriot Watt University too. But I think only the gold award Maths challenge winners were chosen to attend more Math things. Although reading the back of the certificates I'm fair chuffed with myself only the top 40% received certificates out of around 120,000. I bloody failed Higher Maths too we were the 1st year to sit the new style Highers, where you had to pass all your in class assessments and final exam I believe. I passed all my assessments and failed the final exam. Didn't even like Maths but I was alright at it.Sorry but there is EVIDENCE you kept the cash in YOUR account because there’s NO EVIDENCE it went to the chosen charity.
