The herald post was written in retrospect for the internet and it is not factually accurate as the crime happened in 1991. Newspapers are absolutely notorious for getting details wrong. It also states he has a number of previous violent convictions

My comment was based on thinking he has been charged with the shouting in the football pitch ( bad enough) I thought that it wasn’t the same person going by what I thought was the age discrepancy. where’s the gouged up driveway? Also the sun was out when it was snowing this week. I had to wear my sunglasses on my walk or I would have been blinded by the sun and snow. I’m sure she sees the road on the other side of the fence is completely clear to drive on

P.S. it would make more sense not just financially to look for another rental closer to the kids school so she can keep saving to buy a house. Just saying
