He showed people around a flat and pretended it was available for rent. He took deposits and first month's rent off people, and when moving day came, he would disappear
Don't feel any sympathy for this serial fraudster. He's ruined a lot of lives in his past through several scams, it's about time karma caught up with him!
It never opened - he never even had the lease to the building before getting the Bolton News to write that article. The Liverpool and Glasgow ones never existed either. Just another false story so he could mislead people into thinking he was successful
That's a great point - I wish this thread existed years ago! Hopefully it'll save a future acquaintance or partner a lot of emotional/financial distress.
Personally I can't see him changing for the better, but I guess it's a possibility with a lot of self reflection.
He's had help before - his ex partner helped him with a roof over his head when he had nowhere to live, but James scammed him out of £1000s in a web of lies and fraud in return.
He's been sectioned a few times. In his head he runs nightclubs as an entrepreneur but in reality he opened a bar in...
I wouldn't feel too much concern for him. He's caused a huge amount of grief in the past with people who have known him.
He won't stay off social media as he loves making up personal drama for attention
I used to know James, I guarantee he is 100% lying. Nasty piece of work, his family understandably washed their hands of him. He's ruined many lives in the past. Evil.
