I was given tramadol for the pain but only lasted 2 days on them, I didn’t like the feeling I got with them. I ended up having my daughter get me Nuromol which are making the pain ease a bit. I’ve an appointment on Tuesday (thanks to out of hours making it) with my gp so I’ll see then what she says

I’m assuming so, I was only young but I do remember when my mum left the trainers outside the back door for dad to deal with after work, and he did it often enough

I can’t help re trainers & dettol but my dad used to put a cut potato into the toes part of my brothers trainers to absorb the smell, his trainers would’ve sent you reeling

It may be a generational thing, we used to have dettol baths when we were kids staying over at granny’s house. Not done it in years though. I do buy it to use as a disinfectant though. Great for cleaning paintwork
