Back to the starvation lunches. Handful of breadsticks, tiny portion of hummus and two slices of ham. Why she had to open the jaffa cake packet I don't know.

"Ela was at OUR parents' house" - did I hear that right :ROFLMAO:

I had a look at this earlier, it reads as each parent gets fined for a child missing 5 days. If they miss another 5 days, each parent is again fined, but double. If there is another unauthorised absence within 3 years they should receive other action - parenting order or court...

I know this is a delayed comment but it irks me how she says "we had a wonder in Target" - it's WANDER. One thing spelling it wrong but actually saying it that way is another. For Sevda: Wander is a physical activity. It means to move around (usually walking) without a specific destination or...

Is this dress really from Next? I'm having a browse out of nosiness (want to see how much she spent on herself vs Ela!) and I can't find it on there. Might not be looking at the right colours or something, it looked blue in the hotel video, but more silver here and white in the group photo.

I feel terrible for laughing. 🙈 The poor thing really does need to see a dentist though, but I keep seeing that she would need to wait for all her adult teeth to come through? Hopefully that's what the parents are waiting for if that is the case and not just being cheap.

Omg yes, I just watched the same video. Didn't watch much because it made me uncomfortable that this child is behaving like a mini adult and I would question the parents big time about the exploitation etc. But just regarding development - light years ahead of Ela. The difference is shocking.

Ela will be gripping onto the side the whole way around OR using one of those penguin skating assistant things which I believe are for much smaller children, but that doesn't usually stop Sevda from thinking it's appropriate for her 8 year old.

I just saw this as someone else quoted (I've missed a page or two I think) I agree with you and was only using her wording regarding Turkish Cypriot? It would be wrong of me to say I know enough on the subject to say anything more about it. It still doesn't make her Turkish. I thought my post...

How many times did she have to comment on the spiciness of those peppers ffs. Liking spicy food isn't a personality trait. Ela being creepy and staring into the camera from the opposite side of the room while sevda was dishing up dinner. Good thing sevda has been getting wider because she...

Also, isn't she only turning 8 this month? Why is she buying her age 9 and then suggesting there's something wrong with the sizes? Of course age 9 will be too big! I know she's doing it because she's cheap and hoped she could get away with not buying her new clothes for longer, but the cheek to...

Also, she mentioned Ela got the wings out of the freezer while she was in town. With the absence of a packed lunch video this morning, I'm intrigued. Let's say Ela gets back from school at half 3 or so, possibly later. Maybe even say 4. Sevda then needs to pop out so Ela gets wings out to...

Ha came here as soon as she said that. "We say hummus" - no WE don't, Sevda. You're not Turkish. Turkish-Cypriot heritage yes, Turkish no.

Tbf yeah, she's always "forgetting" about pork or gelatin when it suits her so I immediately assumed she was doing the same with the sweets. Being clueless because it's not something important to her. But on this occasion, if it's vegetarian it would be halal as wouldn't have pork gelatin so...

You know what, you are right. 😂 I was pre-coffee watching that video. I'll leave my comment up in shame haha
