Yeah I thought it might be people being silly. Tattle doesnt seem to care about black Friday unlike Mumsnet or Mse where admins post loads of threads and aff links. People say tattle is all about making money but if so why wouldn't they charge for membership like other forums do to sign up...

I read that tattle made it invite only a couple of weeks ago because black Friday is coming up and they want to generate buzz to get more visitors. Apparently it's all a ploy to make people want to join and get more posts. I joined in the summer when it was open thankfully.
