Either way by Richard’s own admission the funds raised were not used for the intended purpose. Also as it was not used for his medical treatment costs it therefore no longer falls under tax free gifting and actually is then classed as a taxable income which must be declared.

Between that and the thousands raised in phantom book sales he can be reported to HMRC for tax fraud.

The GFM can also be reported as it was not used and was raised under false pretences.

Very good points made. There’s no way you can just get a friend to set up a go fund me page for treatment, take all the money but not use it for treatment and just keep it for yourself to boost your bank balance TAX free! That’s boarding on money laundering and it’s by ways of gaining TAX free money and that must be classed as TAX fraud

I’ve been trying to get onto tattle for a few weeks because I’d spotted this a while ago and it was playing on my mind when I saw that someone there had joked about Richard running off to Brazil. I don’t know whether he’s EOL or not, if he is he’s looking a heck of a lot better than my brother and close friend who both looked decades older than their ages in the weeks leading up to their deaths from cancer, and I don’t know if it’s just a strange coincidence, but those of you who can get onto his insta page should look at the post from 3/7/23. If you scroll up or down past the post, which is a recording, there’s an image behind it, shown briefly before his recording starts. Coming from the top of the page down, the image is obviously a house but it cuts off before you can see it clearly, coming from the bottom up its property details. R$ is the Brazilian currency and Bairro Forquilhas is in São José, Brazil. As I said, I really don’t know if he’s EOL, has advanced cancer, any cancer at all or not, but there’s definitely been a lack of honesty and transparency in his dealings which has caused people to question him, and if it is some elaborate game he’s playing it’s really tragic. If he is in fact dying, and luckily for him dying well (ie not heavily sedated with pain meds nor ng-tubed) then it’s a lesson to other cancer influencers to think carefully if you decide to try to make money from your diagnosis, because illness doesn’t free you from the obligation to have integrity.

Bloody hell good spot. That’s very intriguing. I can’t get my head around any of this and I feel a terrible person questioning someone EOL but things just keep red flagging. In reality though would anyone in this day and age be able to pull this off? Is it just a case of him taking in as much money as he can before he dies? Maybe he thought he had a lot more time to spend and enjoy the GFM and book sale money, un paid TAX in his buisness? Maybe the cancer crept up alot quicker than he thought it would? Or maybe he was always in denial about cancer and because he thinks his hid he thought he could beat it and walk away with all his fraudulent money?

Hello, newbie here! The price of that house is 90k not 900k. It’s in Portuguese and ‘mil’ means a thousand not a million. Very affordable for our Bowel Bro if he’s saved all the GFM and book monies

Maybe the new GFM page that pays to THEM and not directly to the hospice as most people would do..... and the "you have seven more days to order my book before it goes for good.".whilst on his "deathbed", are needed to add to the house fund...

Like most other people, I have no idea what is really going on. I completely believed him when I first encountered him - my brother had recently died of cancer and I was looking for some good news stories out there that proved that it wasn’t so dreadful for everyone. I didn’t particularly like him as he seemed too cocky but I did buy into the getting stronger for Hipec stories and hoped that would be the case. Over the months though, with all the money making schemes, and the gross flaunting of his apparent wealth, it’s become a bit too weird and untenable. You start looking back at things more closely and questioning what’s going on, at the same not really believing someone could make all this stuff up. Maybe he did think he had more time. Maybe he was never really that ill. Maybe he got swept up with the attention and started believing his own hype. Maybe it was all some elaborate ploy from the outset. They do say your lies will always catch up with you, so maybe this “mistake” of leaving the Brazilian house in the background or one of the self-congratulatory recordings was karma. Who knows? But whether anything is what it’s supposed to be I guess remains to be seen

And for the tattler who suggested I may be working in cahoots with Richard putting clues out there, I think you need to stop watching the crime programmes! I couldn’t register on tattle because they’re oversubscribed, so thought at least this way someone from tattle (as there was talk of flitting to Panama or somewhere on there) might get the info and either it be useful or interesting. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if all the last photos were from a while ago - and the supper with the parents was a goodbye of sorts. He may be well on his way to wherever right now. Or he may be in the hospice at the end of his life. I don’t know any more than anyone else does. Not everybody is working some angle! Perhaps you should read what I’ve said rather than making accusations based on true crime shows! This is weird enough as it is, however it pans out.

Didn’t mean to sound needy, but thank you, I do appreciate it - not keen on having my honesty questioned! It is a bit like nobody can have anything relevant to add unless they’ve been around for a while! As I said I’ve lost two people very close to me recently to cancer, and nearly all my older family members over the years, so the idea that anyone would think of using it as a way to make money just breaks my heart. It didn’t occur to me that anything was odd until Richard himself said about people being nasty on tattle. I felt awful for him. I thought it was just trolls and couldn’t understand why anyone would do that to a dying man, but when I realised it was because people were suspicious of him it threw a whole new light on it all and I took off my rose-tinted glasses too. What a sorry state of affairs!!

I’m exactly the same as you. I thought Tattle sounded awful and some things they say I don’t agree with but Richard himself sent me over there when he was moaning about it. Then when I read from the start it made me question everything he said. I felt silly feeling so sorry for him and being sucked in by him. Then the boasting and everything he said and did got worse and worse. I too have lost loved ones to cancer and again feel exactly the same as you do about Rich when you have watched love ones pass in the worse possible way and his there making money for himself not charity off the back of it.

And I find this a bit odd. His friend who “organised” the fundraiser posted this on his page in July 2022 after having posted the first attachment, which makes it clear money was being raised for RDs chemo a month earlier. They’re very different in so many ways! The second, must swankier one has Richard’s work email as the contact and calls itself a Bowel Bro event, slightly deflecting from it being a fundraiser for him. In the third attachment the “organiser” talks of the bowelbro charity, the £57k raised and how much good this was going to do for others. I understand RD said the money was still in his bank a couple of months ago when tattlers were asking about it, which seems odd if it wasn’t raised for him. Or was it?! There have been so many conflicting stories! Did they just get carried away with an idea that took on a life of its own or was it all premeditated?

Bowel Bro charity is being struck off as he hasn’t filled the confirmation statement. The Gala and GFM funds he said himself were in his own bank account and hasn’t been touched. So the money hasn’t been used to help others or for any chemo treatment. So all those people who donated money, prizes (and even the venue they used wasn’t paid for it was given to them for free) was literally raised for Richard to enjoy himself and boost his bank balance. In my eyes that’s 100 fraud. He was moaning about the cost the hospital in London wanted to charge him for a scan why didn’t he just use his GFM money to pay? That way at least some of it was actually used for treatment! As we know since the Gala he went on a honey moon and hired a private island (I don’t care how high up his wife is in her job) her Salary would never stretch the pay for that kind of holiday. He also got his fast car (although that’s a lease and only had to put a deposit down upfront) his businesses have never filled again accounts and have all been closed or being struck off. The only one that’s ever filed a set of micro accounts showed the company profit was £30k but they owed £200k so basically worthless. So Where has all his money come from?

Not to forget that he tried to get the DavBoss company struck off too but someone has objected to it, presumably because he owes money so that’s been halted. There is suspicion his wife’s house has gone on the market way over value to ensure nobody actually buys it but they can point at it and say look, we’re trying to raise the money right now
