i think Angie is so focused on "people lie, they make up that they're a victim" because she's a toxic b who has abused anyone who has ever been unfortunate enough to get close to her. i believe this is a long ingrained defence she has due to her ex-friends/partners/etc telling the truth about her and her behaviour when they finally break free, and she employs the classic narc trait of "nuh uhhh, i am the victim". she's openly said that she put a gps tracker on an ex's car, drove by his house to see if he was lying about being home, gone on dating sites whilst in a relationship, provoked to cause potential reactive abuse...
