Oh don't start me on retail..I worked retail for years, as the manager I ALWAYS worked boxing day so staff could have it off, my kids were grown and it was always so quiet I did it on my own. Hated that HO made us open, boxing day should be closed to non essential work!

Christ, I'm the sort to cook 3 types of meat, 8 veg, 3 types of stuffing etc..everyone loves coming to me. This year I'm going to my daughters thank God!We had to eat at families last year as it was their turn and they are the most unseasoned people ever it was awful

I used to go to my mams but her and my step dad look after my nana now and she’s just in a tiny bungalow . Then when my eldest son moved away it’s just me and the my other 2 adult kids. Actually that's sly because some people can't afford it. I just mean the fully functioning adults who don't know how to cook and think going out is easier
