My dog (not current) was a westie and she tried to go for another dog that she'd been around tons. I was sat on the floor and there was a child to the other side of me, so I put my leg in the way and ended up with a superficial bite wound. If Angela had seen she'd say I tried to knee my dog.

It wouldn't surprise me - she used to openly say how she never disciplined her dog, so he was likely as well-behaved as his owner his entire life.
A bite wound is serious, regardless of the size of the dog it came from. I can imagine she had many incidents like this.
