I’m so sorry luv, even when expected, it’s still a shock to the systemGood morning. Not been on much as life is lifing, Dad taken a turn for the worse, expected but never an expected if that makes sense. He got admitted to hospital on Thursday but the plan is to get him home this week.

I'll just quickly pop this here for you, as I'm busy cooking. This is the only anti-sickness medication that really worked for me. I still take them every day. I get mine prescribed as I'm on a pretty high dosage but you can buy a lower dosage over the counter.

Cinnarizine is a really good OTC, it's used for travel sickness, vertigo etc
Cyclizine is another good one, I had it after surgery but unsure if it's an OTC x

Oh Betty luv, I’m so dreadfully sorryCC members who have had a pet put to sleep, tell me does it get easier? Woke up this morning and burst into tears because I’d realised I’d slept through, my Luna used to come and park herself on me to sleep and wake me upmy arms are aching for her
it does get easier but it takes time, lots and lots of patience and time 
I lost my three elder boys during Covid and it near enough broke me. A quote I read that hit me was “grief is love with nowhere to go” and that helped me flip my perspective somewhat. Your pain is testament to your love and whilst it hurts immensely and will for some time, I promise you - you will smile with that same love when looking back at treasured memories 🥹
I often speak out loud to my boys, I tell them I love them, I miss them and I say their names. I also talk to my two young chihuahuas about their angel brothers.
