Tired Dog GIF by KeepUpWithJazAndYumi

Pre-op assessment done earlier in the week, just waiting on anaesthetist to sign off and should be in theatre next week 🤞🏼 sorry for being a knob and not replying to DMs (I will), I’m having a week long menty-b 🥰
Hope all goes well 😍 make sure you have ear pods and something nice to listen to when in hospital. Also if you take meds that you take for anxiety to have spares in your bag. They took my meds off me (when I was admitted) and when I asked for my diazepam I never got them. As they had to ask a doctor and no doctor was about at 2am 😞

This is brilliant advice, thanks luv 🤗 I learnt the hard way about taking my own meds in, when I had my first blood transfusion years ago. Omg the red tape just to get meds I’m prescribed 😒 I asked the nurse at the pre-op, if I could take diazepam prior and she said I was allowed 😅 I also have my Loop™️ earplugs that Judas recommended to me and they really are brilliant!

This will make you laugh, when I suggested v pillows/peppermint tea for comfort ect. Anyway I thought to myself 'will ask Mr Marshy what else helped me when I had a hysterectomy as my memory isn't great' well it was a good thing before asking him I realised I wasn't even with him at the time 🤣🤣 it was a different chap 🤣🤣

I have a very delicate and niche recommendation luvs but I can’t begin to explain the reassurance they’ve given me. I hope you’ll never need these but I can’t not mention them 🥹 TW: light trauma mention

I recently bought a pair of *HapiLegs - disposable trousers for use during medical procedures/operations. Intended for those that may have trauma, need more privacy or perhaps even due to religious beliefs. They cost me under £10 including shipping and the peace of mind they’ve given me for my op is astronomical.

*Google HapiLegs if you don’t want to click the link luvs. Scroll down for the video demonstration and they go up to 24-26 🩵
