I get why people were saying to her about proving and weaponising her diagnosis when she spoke on it, especially given the fact she not that long ago was saying the same to another person about their diagnosis. However absolutely nobody should have to provide medical evidence to confirm any medical condition on social media, especially when it comes to something such as cancer. It’s hard enough trying to deal with it in your own head and with your family members without hundreds of people questioning what you’re going thru.I saw it, looked legit from me. The bits that were blocked out were nhs numbers etc. the letter said Fiona and the Drs surgery appeared to be in the area that the Fiona who was doxed was from. I didn’t screen shot it as it felt weird, I thought about it and then didn’t.
Having had personal and professional experience I do feel for her and what she is going to go thru physically and mentally. I don’t feel she has helped herself by engaging online when she should be taking time out to look after herself. I also don’t think her “friends” have done the right thing by her on social media, they have used it to their own advantage for financial gain and as a segment.
