We spend £1000’s on ours. Obviously the babies get less because their gifts are far cheaper. I’ve had load of shame for it. Of course we have had hard times, when we haven’t been able to do this. That is also okay. My children are far from spoilt, I’m so proud of them all. They would never brag about anything, if fact they don’t even tell people what they have got

Why does is actually matter how much people spend no one should feel bad either way. The pressure on parents from their own children and society can be immense. Holding lives like this just makes that worse. That Holly knew that video would make tiktok bite she knew exactly what she was doing. Just by making a Christmas present video haul in the first place might make another parent feel awful that they can't even afford what she has

Honestly hate people like Vanessa, it's such a narrow minded view. Many that experience generational trauma go above and beyond to protect their kids from experiencing the same life they did.
