It was called. She just wanted a nice extra long weekend the daft bint.
I don't get how she can't have a bit more pride. The satisfaction of doing a job well and being present at the job instead of being off all the time. That feeling of going home for the weekend after a busy work week and enjoying yourself by going out or resting and relaxing knowing it's earned.
She will end up losing her job eventually. She's in a great position, two incomes and no dependent at home to support. I truly think she lives for the drink and she needs to address it. I think she skives off work cos she's either hungover or wants to drink.
It's not a good quality of life and it will catch up with her eventually.

Some nurseries are term time only and follow the school holiday pattern.x
