I am currently a patient at the Christie’s and I am undergoing chemotherapy and I am on a Clinical Trial. When I saw the post that he wrote “I’m Sorry….goodby” I got concerned and worried and tried to help if I could.
So I tried to see if I could get relevant authorities to do a welfare check/call to try and see if someone would be able to get him help.
In the past he’s posted videos saying thank you to the Christie for treatment - as well as photos of inside the hospital and hospital gardens
As a fellow patient I asked my Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) if the hospital could do a welfare check on him or get his team to maybe do a welfare check…?
I am fully aware of GDPR and they wouldn’t be able to provide any information on him as well as details in his care. (Patient confidentiality is a must and I fully respect this and would never ask direct questions about anyone health directly to nurses and doctors & all I was told was nobody under that name is a patient at the Christie’s.
I know there is so much patient confidentiality and no information would be given to me. I am the type of person who would rather contact the relevant people just in case because god forbid he has unalived himself I would never forgive myself for not trying to help.
I only contacted the hospital I am being treated at because he has posted in the past saying he’s having treatment at the Christie’s and only to see if they could speak to his team to do a welfare check (sorry if this was wordy but I didn’t want people to accuse me of trying to get details on his health.)
I have to say I wasn’t surprised when I was told however it’s really hurt that anyone would do this.
Hope this makes some sort of sense…

You were trying to do a kind thing to make sure he was okay not get patient information. He has posted that he is a patient of the Christie.

Well well well what an even bigger sshow to wake up to!!! do his supporters are deluded. Some of them are zealot like, “stop bullying James, go in box you’re lying prove he hasn’t got cancer” I’ve literally approved thousands of comments I swear I’m not replying to anyone who can’t even see the curtains from the curtains in that general ward! fkk I’m not even joking, this is beyond anything I’ve ever seen on TikTok. The people who have messaged me to ask if I’m okay is astounding, the amount who are currently going through cancer or have been through what he says, well… I’m rendered speechless
Was the same for me. I mentioned that i had stumbled across this site, asked he was in ibiza, got some nasty dm and then got blocked. I reported to gfm, got an email back last night to send some more details.
