Ela will suffer terribly from a mental perspective if Sevda pushes her anywhere near down that route. Ela is mentally delayed for her age in many areas and to jump to being exposed as a made-up freaky mini-adult and encouraged to act like one would mess with her mind, even if she thought it was fun to do. The physiological damage would show when she’s older.
Sevda just needs to help Ela reach to being more age appropriate by not babying her. That is where she’s damaging Ela right now.
Sevda talked about living in a tiny apartment with Sedat and being pregnant with Ela. How they’d applied for housing and were so happy when they got approved. I remember doing some research at the time and realizing it’s government subsidized housing she was talking about.
