My 1 year old niece would LOVE that plate but at 8 years old you shouldn’t have an issue with not separating your food and having it all together on one plate like adults. Also, I don’t know if it’s just me but I WANTED to be more responsible and adult at that age. Why doesn’t Ela? I wanted to be a grown up and be seen as a grownup. If Ela ever goes to University she’s going to struggle and she won’t have these basic life skills to operate as a normal functioning adult?!?! She won’t be able to ask her house mates to cut up her food for her! This is a very basic skill you learn as a toddler. Same with opening packets. My niece opens packets by herself and it’s only an issue for us because SHE IS ONE!!!

Grumpy Ela can’t go an hour without something highly caloric and coated in chocolate! Poor girl only just has her adult teeth coming through and all are about to fall out the amount of sugar she eats.

Begda only cares about having lots of x food. Notice when she pays out of pocket or eats at an actual restaurant (rarely), she always finds fault. She also never orders more than a measly portion (measly to her, normal for us) because she’s tight and that pisses her off I bet. She just wants to eat and eat because she’s a binge eater. The bint had no idea what gnocchi was up until last year, couldn’t pronounce it and didn’t like it. And she calls herself a foodie? Please, that’s an insult. She calls favourites stunning. FAVOURITES!!

When it’s cheap beige food, she’s happy as Larry. She doesn’t care about quality. She has the palate and gluttony of the fat girl she once was and is getting that way again. Mine might be bigger, probably snacks a lot, but as I said before, her meals look quite decent. She actually cooks and spends money on nicer food/restaurants.
