I have a copy of the questions and my doctor said a private clinic will give out stimulants 100 percent. I was advised not to have them but another drug which is non stimulant ADHD medication instead.
You have to pay a few 100£’s for the diagnosis and then the meds are approx £100 per month. You can so easily fake it, it’s really worrying that people are using it to get amphétamines which help with weight loss as they suppress appetite.

The questions are ridiculous like “do you find it difficult to sit and concentrate for any length of time” so basically anyone can go and get this diagnosis. I know there’s been investigative journalists visiting these clinics and saying how easy it is to get meds if you are prepared to pay

Panaroma done a thing about the private clinics and everyone was getting told they had it.

God I bet if any of us did read the questions I bet we can all say oh I do that, oh yes I also do that aswell. Private docs don't care tho as they will get paid for each person they see and diagnose. Xx

Well said, I have both adhd and autism same like my son, it’s a hell hole. Yet I would like to say at first I’ve been assessed privately as it’s crazy waiting list for women over 40. Whole heartedly recommending Riverside Psychology they are amazing. The head of the company has 2 PHD on the subject and she’s on the spectrum as well. So not all private ones are bad or negligent. I went thru large number of them to find the best for my boy.

I meant she can’t get medication from NHS, it would have to be private. I know a guy in his 50’s who was diagnosed on NHS with ADHD last year, I think it was when he was being tested for what they thought was long covid, not sure how the ADHD came up but he gets medication. Says it’s made a huge difference, his profession is in cyber security but his hobby is into much more creative computer stuff like videos, photos etc so he was always doing multiple things. He still does but more managed

I think that’s a huge problem and why it’s always best to wait for the diagnosis from an nhs psychologist.

The problem is everything is a human trait so everyone will do some of the things but it’s doing it to the degree it’s having a huge impact on your life.
(which Steph isn’t as she is able to keep her house tidy and organised! For one she seems to use it instead of taking accountability for impulsiveness and stupidness )

Like we all do the toilet but going to the toilet every second of the day it’s then an issue. So just because we all go to the toilet doesn’t mean we all have bladder problems if you’re seeing where I’m going with this.

But if you’re paying someone they’re gonna give you what you want… the private health sector is dangerous!

In my experience questioner was one part, I’ve had two separate in person session with a psychiatrist as well to determine if both adhd and autism is and to what degree. I’ve had genuine concern if I was losing it as perimenopause def made a dent on me.
They took me seriously and I’m not medicated.

If you get diagnosed privately the meds starts around £450 per month. I can’t take stimulants due to EDS, but wish I could.

So please don’t bash all private practises as Riverside saved my sanctity, they were practicing at Albyn before went private.

Haha now I’m curious I’ve just registered here after HAHM incident, so it was a lot for me to catch up on.

Honestly I wouldn’t even mind saying my full name as she’s literally no one to me, but got curious when that nasty thing went down. Since I’m catching up here religiously.
The wee boys life breaking my heart.

On personal note I would say she might have adhd but autism is far more likely, there is one thing is prominent and it’s her autistic stare. The way she looks in camera I would bet big on autism. Undiagnosed and treated ADHD aligns with compulsive lying tho. She have never had a structure and proper guide (judging by what I read here about her family) so integrity and moral isn’t part of her personality. What I see on her posts I would say without sarcastic undertone she does need professional help.

Garden toys when the weather is about to turn and M is off on holiday with dad anyway also her garden isn’t safe, it’s so exposed, probably windy most of the time too, noisy with cars as well. Not a relaxing place to be!

And not very safe their is a sty fence that he can climb thru and he will want out their all the time if he can see it from the window hopefully less time she will have to be on her phone with any luck.

I saw a psychiatrist privately but my GP referred me because I’d been waiting a few years. It wasn’t because I thought I had ADHD but my GP did, I was advised not to go to a clinic but just see a psychiatrist.
I have the attention deficit but with less hyperactive part of it. I was getting stuck in chaotic cycles and not managing to get any tasks done which meant I was getting more and more stressed and hoarding and hiding mess anywhere I could so I didn’t have to face sorting it. Lots of other things as well that was making my life a complete misery. The meds I have are Atomoxetine and they have really helped me to get things in order. I have to pay for them but I’m so much better and able to function in a more measured way so it’s worth it for me. If I’d been to a clinic they would have given me the stimulant drugs. Maybe Vav isn’t prepared to pay or she didn’t get any diagnosis. I still can’t stand loud noise or eating noises which would make me anti social and not want to go out but it’s dampened down my response to it I’m assuming she lied about it so she had something to moan about and excuse certain behaviours. More likely she’s just a b rather than have it or maybe that’s her excuse not to learn makaton

If I had a ‘stalker’ last thing I’d do is ask the internet for help that involves coming to my house.

I’d say go on to FB and a community group and ask but I’m guessing she knows she can’t. So needs to rely on weirdos desperate for 5 seconds of her time and it doesn’t matter what calibre they are, it’s safer than using a local.

My skin specialist was telling problem with hyaluronic acid is that most of what's out there for us ie not specialist trained ,isn't strong enough to penetrate our skin, something to do with molecules are just too big . I still use it but know its doing jack s #hope

Thank you babe got the Inkey eye cream and the ordinary caffiene one coming today but still need eye patches. Will nip over to Superdrug see if I can get those. I actually really like revolution, I like their setting sprays. I hate that fanny features promotes them now
