My son had to go for the laser test as the hospital to find out if his were regular or irregular astigmatism as the latter can lead to permanent blindness and the cornea can come right out the eye as it changes shape. The hospital told him he has rugby shaped eyeballs so light comes in the eye at a 90 degree angle so that’s how it affects the eye sight.

surely that’s a tad dangerous being a driver?! Three of my kids had stigmatisms, only one has now but his is really bad, can’t see sharp without this glasses, all blurry but the other two with constant wearing of their glasses for years are now glasses free, one has a slight stigmatism in one eye now but not worth a prescription. She’s always exaggerates but doesn’t understand she’s an absolute fanny. So let’s see if she wears the specs everyday as it’s the only way to correct it
