I actually found my own female doctor was s, refused to give me morphine or something similar for my really bad days and when I asked her to push gynaecology as the wait time is a joke she ignored me. It actually took a young male.doctor to listen to me to get decent pain relief and he keeps pushing gynae.it always seems older doctors are just not up to date with how things are whereas the younger one says they are learning more about it all the timeIt's the biggest Croc of s ever because as an Endo sufferer a female Dr is the worst thing you can doIf any other Endo warriors can back me up? There is no one who understands Endo less than a woman who doesn't have Endo and discusses "heavy periods"
Duloxetine and morphine get me through itI too have horrid periods with Endo and fibroids it’s just is what it is. It’s actually proven that laying down is no good when you have painful periods! Moving around, getting on with your day despite the pain is what helps with cramps ! Abd painkillers of course
well not the morphine when I'm working not sure I'd be any use to anyone after taking that before going in She’s manic today all the bags of shopping in the back seat

I also have tranexamic acid to control the heavy bleeding if I have something really important at work etc going on. But I hate this stuff as once I stop taking it, my period is even more heavy…. But despite all of it, we are still going on with life!
