Yes, that’s the way my father taught me. Fry the onions (he also fried apple with them) then add the spices and fry them off to release the flavour before adding any other ingredients. My father was in India during the war and brought the recipe home with him, I was weaned on curry but sadly can’t eat it now as my stomach decided it was no longer a good idea, a no-no, damn it.
Toasting the spices first 👌

People congratulating her and saying well done in her insta comments. Well done for what??? For a 35 year old cutting some chicken and adding bullshit amounts of ingredients. Two table spoons of blah blah and continues to just sprinkle god knows what amount.

Betec cooking skills beggy! Well done on behalf of us all at comment cafe!
It was soooo delicious that she ate every bite with garlic sauce from e-coli grill.

One a side note, my uncle's wife was from India and came to the states after marrying my uncle. She used to make REAL authentic curries and they were a real treat. No chutney, no lime whatever the F that was and for sure no garlic sauce. Sorry for the novel.

Why does she have random ingredients from HF boxes lying around? Seems to suggest she doesn’t bother with the actual HF recipes and uses the stuff to cook up her own s?
Yep apparently Ela’s pwarns yesterday came from a HF box 😂 I’m pretty sure those recipes set out everything you’re meant to use and provide all the ingredients so no excuse for leftovers… Unless she’s trying to tell us she doesn’t like HF 🤣

I’ve used HF and they are Crap! The meat always smells rancid so I stopped using them 3 years ago. Not worth the money in my opinion for below average ingredients.
