“Sevda's basically paid £215.00 for two jacket potatoes”In Stevenage Spud Man video he's recording the entire interaction with Sevda and Hippo and you can see him faff about trying to input the amount on the card reader machine. Eventually he charges her a straight £215.00.
His card machine is what he uses to take payments from customers for jacket potatoes and drinks etc. It's not a card machine to donate to charity. Neither was it 2 transactions, 15 for spuds and 200 donation, it was all on the same tab.
So the £215.00 will go directly into Spud Man business bank account and then we are to just believe that he'll transfer that money to the charity? Sevda's basically paid £215.00 for two jacket potatoes. He'll be liable for VAT and all sorts of other HMRC business implications.
This is a clear example of how fraud and money laundering works. There's no transparency or correct procedures being adhered to? Spud is not the charity owner or employee so this is all very dubious.
Imagine if he doesn’t donate any of the money
