My thyroid went crazy back in 2008. I noticed that my resting HR was at least 150, I was losing tons of weight, bad mood swings, and on and on. I finally went to the doctor after my boss at the time nicknamed my crazy side "Karen". They did an ultrasound on my neck and found 16+ nodules growing on my thyroid. Long story short, after years of trying to regulate it, they removed my thryoid. Now I'm on meds but was the best thing for me at the time. Sorry for the novel.17 years? Wow! Iāve only been on medication almost a year now so itās pretty new to me but itās a horrible Disease.
I had My Gallbladder removed almost 6 years ago and Iāve been ill ever since.
Pancreatitis then Gallstones stuck in my Common bile duct then Cholecystitis! Bloody nightmare it was!
Was sick of seeing A&E that year! Blood test picked up High cholesterol ( Never had high cholesterol in my life) and then after another blood test they found Hypothyroidism which Iāve had for some time untreated which caused my Cholesterol to sky rocket. All under control now and both at Good levels. But the symptoms havenāt stopped. Theyāre better than they were but still there.
Now itās my white Blood cell count thatās iffy. Itās never bloody ending!
If flubber keeps putting cake cheese and Alcohol away like she is doing it will eventually catch up with her!
When I got Pancreatitis the doc at the hospital was shocked when I told him I donāt drink because alcohol is one of the main causes. Iād lost that much weight very very quickly and it caused a lot of problems. Hope You get yourself sorted and quickly! 17 years is a long time!

Sooooo she thinks intermittent fasting (except she didnāt know what it was actually called) is going to help her lose weight? Not necessarily, Beg. Whether you shove 3,000 calories in your gob in 16 hours or 8 hours, itās still 3,000 calories. fing tool she is.
I have lost 3 and half stone since Feb and have been doing the 16:8 intermittent fasting...BUT... during those 8 hours I also go into calorie deficit...I needed to loose weight for surgery but also wanted to do it as healthy as possible so no faddy diets etc where I would just put it all back on when I stop... it was a lifestyle change and I didn't cut out any food groups, just made better choices and smaller portions!!
Exactly - it still comes down to number of calories consumed. But Iām sure this dumb b doesnāt understand that. Congrats on your weight loss!
