I know especially after her proclaiming this morning, she loves having her kids at home with her. Really such a weird thing to say to any mother, I love doing the school run and hearing about their days on the walk home. My oldest school is school and home is home so don't hear much about his days.
Always been like that even all through primary, couldn't ask about his day on walk home but later on he will sometimes share more about his day. I do a simple did you have a good day? when he gets home and 90% of time it's a "yes" and 10% it's "the worse day ever" in that case I simply tell him he doesn't have to talk about it right now but later once he is calmer and settled we can talk about what went wrong today.

When I worked in Edinburgh I had to get my lass up at 6am and drop her at the other side of the town then drive to Edinburgh and get through Newbridge traffic at 8am.
If anyone has done that, they will know how impossible that is.

But I am never ‘too busy’ to do the job of a parent. My time spent with my kid was the best when she was wee, her stories were hilarious. Or some days she couldn’t be arsed with me

That would be me !Exactly every child is different and they will play in their own ways. She needs to try guiding him and if he doesn't want to interact at first don't give up or think this is pointless and boring. That video she done in his room you could see she was irritated he wasnt interacting with her. He probably sees her on her phone constantly so always goes for his iPad because that's what he is seeing at home and that's what he thinks is normal.
I remember my son bringing me this bag of Thomas building blocks and I spent a good hour building it following instructions. Got it finished and he took it all apart and put the blocks in piles
Ours are those marbel runs! And Iys the same ! Spend forever trying to build for it to be dismantled the minute it’s finished

I've no been well so put on the pounds which bugs me and I've fybro and middle aged , it's no joke . However as much as I'd like a quick fix , it doesn't enamour me these skinny jabs , side effects etc . I'm up a size this time last year when I could get into a 12 NF jacket . Anway I'm 5ft 9 , so can get away with it . When I was in my 30s prior / after having kids I was a 10 but looked gaunt in the face but hey ho menopause n all that . Least I'm honest about my sizing Vavronator .
