I need music when I do housework,,drive,walk ,shower,sleep .and if I have to drive anyone anywhere I am so annoyed that I have to talk and cant listen to music. I have an Alexa in every room and showerproof speakers for the shower.Silence while houseworking? I don't think I could. I need music to motivate me. I probably overstimulate myself but music is everything for me motivates me, calms me down. I have a lyric for all occasions
I don’t like silence, I need to drown out any intrusive thoughts . A tip I learned is that it’s very hard to sing and have those thoughts .there just isn’t room in the brain to do both. So sing your heart out if you feel stressed. Also while I’m on a roll here.sing loud because I believe that it makes you breathe deeply. And that calms the racing mind too.
