That lot are making a mockery of the People who do have autism, adhd, anxiety, dyslexia, dyscalculia etc! Really triggers me when she goes on about dyslexia, adhd and autism. One of my daughters is autistic and has dyslexia while my youngest is adhd and super intelligent and I always say its not a green card to be a s human they have been raised to be respectful, polite, kind and hard working.
My girl was non verbal and a late talker but I sat with her doing flashcards songs makaton (which she doesn't rely on now) visuals (which I still use) and now she doesn't stop talking! I sit with her twice a week going over maths and writing. I even purchased yellow paper so she could print her work off from teams screens for her and reading are not great so we print it off and we go over it together. No diagnosis will ever hold my kids back and while I have breath in me I will do whatever it tales to prepare them for adulthood!!

You sound like amazing parent, I can understand why she is triggering for you. She angers me more than anything. I only have personal experience of a wee man in our family with ADHD. Took ages to get him diagnosed, signs were there at nursery, started school in the covid era of August 2020 which didn’t help him. He was never a bad child as such just some situations would affect him. He’s thriving now and no different to other kids because his parents, school and NHS worked together

I use to piss my mum off doing all the crosswords in hers when she was out 
I’m really good at guess who I knew who @QVCs Vangelina was months ago before we went looking for each other. There’s a reason my lass is going in to the police and that’s cause she’s like her mother

Sounds amazing! That wee boy will continue to thrive because he has People around him encouraging him. I live with neurodiversity and fully understand how challenging it can be but she isn't an advocate she doesn't work she doesn't have her kids all the time. She doesn't know what it's like truly!!
