Christmas Dinner at mine is a long all afternoon process. My brother is a tad raging, I'm not hosting starters here is basically a buffet of starters to cater for everyone, build your own prawn cocktail ingredients, pate, cheeses and a variety of picky nibbles the kids might eat. Then standard turkey, beef and gammon with all the trimmings. I might have to make a dish of my cheesy leeks for my mum to pop in the oven for him because she won't do them for him. I like to feed them up so when it comes to dessert they only want a small serving so there's more left for me to eat in bed later watching crap on telly
I usually cook like I’m cooking for the 500 but I don’t touch it my OF isn’t here for crimbo, he’d be climbing the walls if I didn’t cook a Christmas dinner so it’s a win for the kids
