I hear ya my daughter and son are polar opposite too. My daughter is delayed and although we got her to the point of being able to do things herself she is easily upset or angry but she is quieter and struggles with the noise of my son.
I find it so lovely that parents like myself are here and to know I'm not alone in the struggles of daily life with two very different neurodivergent children. So if I haven't said it thank you to those of you who have made me feel less alone. I honestly wish I knew who some of you were. Much love to you all
My son struggled with the noise of his sister. Even I do at times. I actually have to wear a pair of ear defenders when we play Mario Party on the Switch together my brain can not cope with it
.It is a lovely wee bridge, where everyone's open minded and values others different opinions. It is sometimes very lonely being an ASN parent, not all your people in your life GET it so it's nice to have somewhere to vent or ask for advice. Vav just adds to the entertainment here and let's us see "dya know what I'm smashing this parenting thing"
