Exactly!! And I could be way off here having never had kids but surely the meals are portioned accordingly. Like they know how many etc.. fair enough the odd one that forgets lunch bag etc but I very much doubt kids can just decide willy nilly

As a former dinner lady I can say yes you are correct. They will make enough for the kids and staff that are having it and then a little bit spare as there are some kids who ask for seconds. Kids who have forgotten lunch will get a call home asking to bring it in unless parents are at work. Kitchen staff will make a pack up if there’s not enough to give them.
Get the feeling she's been passing out and H been putting herself to bed. The overkill of bedtime is very unnecessary and fake, as the lunch story coming to think of it.
