Thank you, that’s very sweet of you. It was closely followed by my best friend and then my husband’s best friend so a blinder of a year all in all. But we all know loss which is why we’re not happy at the idea of someone potentially using illness as a ploy.

It’s the “not anticipated his death” bit that I think is bizarre. He was stage iv terminal, off treatment for months, on heavy duty pain medication and then in a hospice for end of life care. He had said months earlier the book would be ready for printing 2 weeks after his death to allow for...

Okay for clarity, this is why I keep on about the photo comment. There is nowhere to put a photo anywhere near the roses. This is someone who doesn’t actually know what the process is, which suggests she hasn’t actually done it, so why the comment unless it’s to try to convince people of...

No that’s from ever after garden’s instagram page. Deborah James went there the Christmas before she died to raise awareness of it, so I guess that’s where Lisa got the idea from as R wasn’t a patient at the Marsden and they didn’t live in London. @Dorothy Perkins, was this taken from EAGs insta...

No you don’t need to prove anything. You just go there, donate and get a little wooden plaque you write on and they put it next to a rose. It’s a great fundraiser for the Marsden and also it’s a nice way to commemorate people you’ve lost. They aren’t interested in proof because I’m sure most...

It’s a fundraising garden for the Marsden. You can dedicate a rose there, and apparently that’s what Lisa claimed she’d done but also said she’d put a photo there for everyone to see. I don’t think that’s a thing. Attached is a better photo of what it’s like. You don’t get to touch the roses or...

Sorry for the confusion - the photo is one drum everlasting garden which shows how they set up the roses. When you pay for one you get given a little wooden plaque, about 2 inches wide, to write your message on. As far as I recall there’s nowhere to put a photo

I’m a bit puzzled about this photo that is sitting below his rose in the garden. They’ve never allowed things like that before and I doubt they would now, so I’m not sure what she’s referring to … you get a tiny wooden plaque to write on, and it’s not like a cemetery where people leave all sorts...
