Agreed! Mine have been taken out on the last 2 days of term ( once ! ) and they missed the first day back after Easter hols! I'd never dream of letting them miss over 5 weeks of school in one academic year. It doesn't matter if Ewa is not doing GCSEs yet - the fact is- she's way behind anyway...

Same ! We only do one holiday a year but our kids ( now 14 and 8 ) have been to Turkey , Gran Canaria, Spain and Corfu . They've had boat trips to mud parks and turtle beaches , visited ancient monuments, visited old towns , done water parks, learnt basics of Spanish , Greek and Turkish . Swam...
