MB I hope you find some enjoyment in pampering yourself, don't be copying EQ's hairstyle though. Favorite music/podcasts etc on loud noise-canceling headphones can help with short public outings, and doing little ones over and over may help your 'window of tolerance'. Try to ignore any response, it's not worth rocking your boat over. You're not broken, just different, if you changed once you can change again

OH, and if the hairdresser's small talk conversation makes you wobbly, choose a big news topic to bring up, let the salon will join in and take over and you can chill. Some salons offer quiet cut services now too.
