It can also be prosecuted under the communications act 2003 or the malicious communications act 1988. Even if the images have been previously circulated they can still be subjected to prosecution under the protection from harassment act 1997. (I have no legal qualifications btw I'm just very interested in that side of the law as one of my jobs is classed as sex work)
