She doesn’t get it.
If other alcoholics drink vodka, they don’t consume the same quantity of vodka as an alcoholic who drinks wine consumes.
The percentages don’t matter alone, it matters the amount you drink too.
If you drink so much on the regular that you are noticeably drunk, and vehemently defend and deny your actual level of alcohol consumption, then it’s very likely you have an alcohol disorder.
Denying it doesn’t change the facts.

An alcoholic could be dying in a hospital bed, having alcohol sneaked into them and will still deny they are alcoholics.
