I need some advice as not sure where/who to ask.

My son’s dad r***d me in January. I’m currently waiting for CPS to decide if they are gonna charge him or not. I’m also the 2nd victim that I know of. The first allegation the cps didn’t charge him with.

We have a child. He’s never hurt him but am I within my rights to now stop him having contact with him?

Yes they’d probably recommend you stop it as a form of safe guarding police do liase with SS so you could always ask them as they should know the protocol from working with them.

Police have said he can have contact. But if he gets charged why should he get to see his son? We don’t have SS involved.

It’s tricky, sucks that they keep their PR regardless.
Obviously you couldn’t facilitate that contact like even hand overs etc.
so that could be reason enough to stop it for now.

We do contact through his grandparents at moment. I am willing to do court as I have already thought about it. And already applied for a non molestation order against him.

The non molestation can cover the child also if you have reason for not wanting him near the child, if that makes any sense.

Yeah I saw that. Still waiting to hear back from solicitors regarding legal aid so I’ll ask the question when they do.

If I do stop contact.. he can take me to court if he wants to. If a court tells me he can see him then that’s fine but I don’t think he will go that far.

Yes if you do stop it only thing he can do is take you to court, most of the time these guys never do! You are allowed to use your PR to keep the child with you same way a dad can and obviously I’d be cautious that he doesn’t have the child then not return him to get one over on you xx

He’s a police officer he knows the game so he wouldn’t dare keep him. He doesn’t even ask about him through his mum as he’s allowed to do that.

I have no advice regarding legalities, but even if he is allowed contact with the child, can you not be as awkward as possible and be out/busy at the times of contact to avoid it actually happening?

Yeah I can try. He currently has him every weekend. And after the 6 weeks holiday was gonna change it to every other weekend and then slowly stop him going.

Copy and pasted this that I wrote on the other thread my heads fried nosey!
1. Two accounts were commenting on Aimee’s tiktok this morning one called “itsmejo” “itsmedvlajo” both accounts had identical videos exposing details of people on here (real identities so they claimed) they have since deleted both the accounts.
2. A photo of a car that jo claimed was hers a few weeks ago has been shown to be of a car website.
3. The exposure accounts happened after yesterday we all voiced our opinions on jos antics not adding up and having more holes than Swiss cheese.
4. 3 accounts today have been removed by admin Jos, rainbow bright and pink panther.
So we are guessing they’re all jos accounts.
5. We don’t know about jigsaw they’re currently posting videos saying “told you so” regarding the jo incident on here.

We believe the accounts were Jo, there an argument with pink panther mainly aimed at me saying I’m two faced etc.
and rainbow was supporting Jo as usual, then someone commented saying the accounts should be looked into to see if they all belong to Jo cause admin can see that.
I reported and stated that as a reason also.
Admin hasn’t confirmed but did proceed to remove all 3 accounts.
And the reason we think Jo made the tiktok ones outing people is because only Jo recently gathered that information from people following her burner account then yesterday naturally we all annoyed Jo, then this morning the video appears I cannot confirm if the exposure was factual, but Jo did post a rant about it and to piss pants in her comments they said “look at my comment cafe exposure” or something there is screenshots in the other thread.
You’ll find out more as you catch up be prepared and grab a brew!

@LunchTime88 so sorry to read this too and sending you love and hope you are ok as you can be. I agree with muggle, I am not sure of the legal side of things but I think I would be making it extremely difficult for him to see him.
I really hope the CPS take him to court, and he gets what he deserves!
I hope you are able to get the advice and support you need. Lots of love
