Someone told me last week her account disappears, then returns when she wishes to use it. I am not on Tiktok, so I am not sure what she is doing or how.
She has been setting it to private then public but the account seems to be completely gone.
Yes, that is what my friend told me last week, she searched and the account was gone, the day later it was back, that evening it was gone again, the day later it was back.
I have not been on Tiktok for over a year, but I did think if the account was private, it was still searchable? I am not sure what she is doing to make it disappear altogether, then for it to come back again. I am not Tiktok savvy.

I hadn’t noticed it gone before, just set to private.She’s got a habit of blocking people (when she views the list of accounts that pop into her lives) then unblocking ,maybe that’s why it seemed like it was gone? it’s very easy to do in settings you can reinstall at any time.
Yes, but it would still come up in a search but state "private"? Maybe I am wrong though, I know that is how it used to be.
I thought she was perhaps deactivating the account, then reinstating it when it suits.
