Calling out her mum for emotional and physical abuse despite happily posting her visits with her at Christmas…
This really does upset me because the genuine impact of this is devastating and whilst I know people cope differently and she may want to a relationship with her mum…this just screams insincerity and narcissism
I've touched on that before.
If she blames her mum for so much trauma why do all the thoughtful gifts? it doesn’t make sense or sit right with me.
I didn't have the best childhood alcoholic dad who didn't acknowledge me, would leave a room the second he came in, couldn't make noise because being heard annoyed him and a mum who spanked with a wooden spoon (irish upbringing if you know you know, they don't do around) . Unless I have to I don't speak to them, i don't have/show any form of affection towards them.. I haven't met anyone who comes from a traumatic actually abusive childhood who idolise their parents. At Christmas she was bragging about how similar they are like it was a good thing, comparing her parenting skills to her mums and crying because she doesn't like it when she treats louie the way her mum treated her...
Maybe it's just me, but i think she was just a spoilt brat who got told off and is now over exaggerating how bad she had it growing up like it was riddled with abuse and neglect so horrific she developed BPD. She had dance, singing and acting lessons, her mum made holidays and other special occasions nice based in the good stories she's told she grew up privileged, those aren't really the behaviours of neglectful parents not the kind she makes them out to be her siblings seem to have good relationships with all the family so it's only Kara who's been so negatively impacted to the point she got a personality disorder.
Look into the diagnostic requirements for BPD.
I swear she just watches tiktok and regurgitates mental health keywords and phrases for maximum dramatic effect and sympathy.
I wonder what her mum thinks of all the neglect accusations.
Notice the Nintendo has been mentioned/seen for the 1st time since his birthday.
