I don't have one there would it cause this much pain if it was trying to come through maybeCould it be your wisdom teeth? I had mine took out 25 years ago, I first went doctors as I had problems around my ear which was infact a problem with my wisdom tooth (from what I remember as was years ago)
Tooth pain can refer into the jaw and ear. It may well be a wisdom tooth.
