Do they bake other cakes well? They might just be s at baking? They might have heard of the beans and mash and made it dryer for you?
It's been a while since I had any, just the thought of the dryness reminded me of Angies skin texture

Noooo. Ok, well you need to buy one then, there's got to be a cake lover website that will rate red velvets from supermarkets or something on scales of quality etc, find one with 5 stars for moistnessIt's been a while since I had any, just the thought of the dryness reminded me of Angies skin texture
Oh!! I didn’t know. It just came up on my fyp. 🫣Bpd.kezia?
Comet's verdict - He did it because the police arrived and he was worried about his arrest being plastered over the tabloids. Case closed.Yeah me too, and photos of a lot of substance on a surface, but not sure if that's legit. He could've been backing away from the police and its been accidental or he could've done it purposefully, drug induced or sober. I guess we have to wait for Comets conclusion. His poor family

I sound like a drug pusher
Imagine me having to messaging you to tell you to add context to the story cause it sounds like your just slagging off old ladies bakingFor context, the Hospital Mums in is a rehab centre and they've been baking today, it's about giving back confidence to the people in there and when I arrived we'd been told `so and so baked this and so and so baked that` and she mentioned Red Velvet cake and I said `Gosh she must hate her family to bake them that` , the ones I've had in the past have been at parties and stuff but I've always found it so dry so never bothered with it again but now people are telling me I'm missing out is my life a lie?
That's a really sweet way to give them confidence back and get them having some baking fun. But yes, you are missing out, but only until you find the right oneFor context, the Hospital Mums in is a rehab centre and they've been baking today, it's about giving back confidence to the people in there and when I arrived we'd been told `so and so baked this and so and so baked that` and she mentioned Red Velvet cake and I said `Gosh she must hate her family to bake them that` , the ones I've had in the past have been at parties and stuff but I've always found it so dry so never bothered with it again but now people are telling me I'm missing out is my life a lie?

('She must hate her family' )
I'm assuming that she's been able to manage some speech? That's got to have been a huge weight on you/yours. I'm glad she's getting help and it's good help . I'm sorry for joking about the dry cake. I hear you on the bingo, at least it's a social and competitive aspect she can enjoy (and I'm guessing motor/hand eye/numerical?) I hope she exceeds expectations. They do physio during the week, but they do activities which help the care plan so they can see points of weakness that they could potentially work on, I know she's never going to come home and the best outlook is a home eventually, but its working on her strengths and getting her back to some kind of normality, when she initially went in we went ages without any speech and it's been such a big thing to try and deal with but the support she's had is amazing. Apart from Bingo, I hate hearing about fing Bingo

And do red velvet, have all the cheesecakes!
(I still love you red velvet don't go dry on me)
I hope those improvements continue incrementally. I'm so sorry you went/are going through this, and that she's gone/going through it too. When she was initially taken in the Consultant told us she was suffering with Aphasia which affected both speech and communication, she was there but she wasn't taking much in. We were waiting for a while to see what next steps would be and pushed so hard for rehab and thankfully had a bit of speech before they moved her, she's a lot better than she was, we've got speech to a degree and she's managing to lift her own food (she still has her meals cut up, they have lots of volunteers who help, it only has two wards as its mostly a day hospital for outpatients) she isn't managing to get herself up/washed/dressed etc yet but is able to stand with aids for a short while, some walking but not much. She's still with us which is the main thing, days went by not knowing when that phone may ring. Some people in here have been support than some of my own family (that's why some ex members still have a piece of my heart , I'm looking at you Chomp if you still read here) Chomp reached out so much when I was going through something I wouldn't put on my worst enemy x

And you still do have her, and she has you and her bingo
