🫶🫶🫶TLDR sick dog (he’s ok) emotional wteck
Morning , as if my week couldn’t get any worse my doggy is poorly, started being sick and bleeding from bottom vet had a good check and said he’s probably ate something like a slug or has a gastro bug.stomach felt fine and no sign of swelling /obstruction he’s had an injection of anti sickness and antibiotic and I’ve got some tablets to give him. He’s been toilet and had a small bit to eat so that’s good but he’s so lifeless bless him at one point he stood up and fell overHe’s quite old well 10yrs English bulldog and I did panic, in fact I think an emotional dam burst yesterday as I cried so much my eyes are still swollen now. My day is being spent on sofa with quilt and the pooch.
Gonna have a nose and see what these TikTok fs are up to
I'm glad the vet didn't find anything too serious & thinks he's just been a t & eaten something gross. My dog had gastroenteritis when I first got him & has a dodgy belly at times (you can hear it, I call it "squelching", like when you can hear someone's stomach rumbling. If I hear the squelches I know there's no point putting him any food down until at least the afternoon, as he needs time to eat grass & let his stomach settle.).

he feels better after he's got it out more. Do you give him any treats that he just keeps? Mine had a horrific upset stomach because he keeps his big treats rather than eating them & the bacteria had built up on them. Now I'm very strict in chucking them away & getting him new ones more frequently than I was.
