I worked in one. You have to be think skinned to deal with them. Especially the committee men. They had me crying on one occasion and my boss just said you need to toughen up and I did. I get dark humour when it suits.
It really was such a surreal atmosphere in the before-time. A feral land, full of things that will now get you cancelled quicker than a successful niche show on netflix.
