I was wondering how it works because his argument is that he was taking the knife back to his own house. Which could be true (we know it’s not). How could it be proven one way or the other? Although he has said he is gonna plead guilty for a lighter sentence.

He got a suspended sentence for 18 months in 2021 for carrying a Stanley knife. If he gets away with it a 3rd time well it won't be a mystery as to why knife crime is as bad as it is. Just need a bullshit excuse and it's all okay you're free to go do it again.
